Musical City Tour - Nashville, Memphis & Bristol, Tennessee

Day 1: Depart Lancaster. Made to order Breakfast included. Traveling to Bristol, TN. for a Guided Tour of the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, and a hot dinner included, before we check into the Courtyard by Marriott, 3169 Linden Dr., Bristol, VA. where we will spend our first night. Remainder of evening on your own.

Day 2: Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Depart for Nashville. Our first tour is a Guided Tour of the Ryman Auditorium followed by 1½ hour Private Old Town Trolley Tour. Next, we check into our hotel for the next three nights, Drury Hotel, 300 Korean Veterans Blvd., Nashville. The hotel is conveniently located a few blocks off Broadway and other attractions. 5:30 – 7:00 P.M. nightly enjoy free hot food and cold beverages at the 5:30 kickback. This includes a rotating menu of hot food, beer, wine, mixed drinks. and soft drinks. Limit of 3 free drinks per person, per night. Each evening complimentary soft drinks and popcorn for a great nighttime snack. Remainder of the evening on your own.

Day 3: Breakfast buffet at the hotel. If you’re interested in joining me for a morning walk, we will meet at 7:30 A.M. to take a leisurely walk across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge. 9 A.M. everyone meets at the Johnny Cash/Patsy Cline Museum for a self-guided tour. Remainder of the day on your own to utilize your two-day pass for the Hop-on/Hop-off, Old Town Trolley Tour and Monday or Tuesday anytime admission to Musicians Hall of Fame Museum. Don’t forget the nightly kickback at the hotel and complimentary soft drinks and popcorn.

Day 4: Breakfast buffet at the hotel. 8:30 A.M. Experience the famous Studio B Guided Tour, followed by Self-Guided Country Music Hall of Fame Tour. Remainder of the day on your own. Don’t forget the nightly kickback at the hotel and complimentary soft drinks and popcorn.

Day 5: Breakfast buffet at the hotel. 9:30 A.M. Time to depart downtown for the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, 2800 Opryland Drive, our home for the next three nights. Before checking into your room, we will have a private Guided Tour of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Also, a ticket for the Delta Flatbed Boat Tour through the Gaylord Atrium, time for lunch, shopping or taking in the beauty of the hotel on your own. After checking into your hotel room to freshen up we depart for the General Jackson Showboat for music, dinner and a show. Return to hotel.

Day 6: 5:45 A.M. We depart for Memphis. Breakfast To-Go bags for you to enjoy in route to Memphis. Our first stop is Graceland, where you will have 4-1/2 hours for a Self-Guided Tour. This is the recommended time for a ½ day tour. Our next tour is Sun Studio and Edge Motor Museum feature cars of the Sun Studio era. Moving on, we will stop for photos at the Lorraine hotel, where Martin Luther King was assassinated. Dinner at Central Barbecue a local Memphians favorite.

Day 7: Hot made to order breakfast in the Gaylord Atrium on your own. 11 A.M. Back Stage Guided Tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Afternoon on your own. 7:00 P.M. Experience Premium Seating in front center sections 3,4 or 5 of the Grand Ole Opry. We are first in line for Premium Seats, behind the guests of that evening’s, performers. Return to hotel.

Day 8: Unfortunately, it’s time for us to depart Nashville. Hot made to order breakfast in the Gaylord Atrium on your own. 9:15 A.M. We depart the Gaylord for Opryland Mall for self-guided tour of Madame Tussauds. Our last guided tour in Nashville is the Willie Nelson & Cooter’s Museums. We will have lunch before we depart for Courtyard by Marriott, 3169 Linden Dr., Bristol, Va. Remainder of the evening on your own.

Day 9: Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Depart for Bristol Motor Speedway for outside track photo opportunity. It’s too, far out to confirm due to Bristol Motor Speedway’s schedule. If scheduling permits, we will take some laps around the track, either in our motorcoach or in vans. If the gift shop is open, we will allow time to purchase souvenirs. Depart for Lancaster.
