The stage-setting film "A New Birth of Freedom" provides an introduction to the personalities\, stories and sites you're about to experience. At just 20 years old\, Jennie Wade became the only civilian casualty killed during the Battle of Gettysburg. Just 20 years old at the time of the Battle\, Jennie was kneading dough in the kitchen when a rifle bullet pierced two doors and claimed her life.
