April 1\, 2023 - Bus Departs Willow Street\, Lancaster & York\, PA.\n\n \n\nNothing signifies the arrival of Spring in our Nation's Capital like the blooming of the cherry blossom trees. More than 1.5 million visitors descend upon Washington\, DC each year to admire the 3\,000-plus trees.\n\nWhy should you visit Washington DC? Founded on July 16\, 1790\, Washington\, DC is unique among American cities because it was established by the Constitution of the United States to serve as the nation's capital.\n\nYour tram tour is a live-narrated\, hop-on/hop-off tour making four stops: President John F. Kennedy gravesite\, John J. Pershing gravesite\, Memorial Amphitheater\, and Arlington House.  The military guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is changed in an elaborate ceremony which happens every hour on the hour from October 1 through March 31\, and every half hour from April 1 through September 30. Bucket List Tours submitted a request that four people on our tour\, be privileged to lay the wreath at a Public Wreath Laying Ceremony. This is no guarantee and this won't be confirmed until closer to the tour. A boxed lunch will be provided when we depart Arlington Cemetery.\n\n \n\nWe depart Arlington Cemetery for the National Mall for you to spend the remainder of the day on your own \n\nVisiting the Smithsonian Museums or taking a leisurely stroll through the National Mall taking in the beauty of the Cherry Blossoms.
